You have posted a PRESS release not a sworn statement. The Hawaiian record department has released a number of press releases including an original one that stated that the bc posted by obama did not certify place of birth. The records department has no credibility what so ever. I would like them to make their statements under oath. We would probley get a very different version of the facts.
The records of the Hawai’i state Department of Health may have “no credibility whatsoever” with you, but they appear to have credibility with the American judicial system. Judges are very used to interacting with government officials who are the keepers of vital records.
Under the federal rules of evidence, a birth certificate is considered a “self-authenticating document.” At the bottom of every Certification of Live Birth issued by the state of Hawai’i it states the following: “This document is prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding.” Judges pay attention to that. And any judge is going to ask him or herself, why is the administration of a Republican Governor in Hawai’i aiding, covering for and lying for a liberal Democrat president? This is particularly true when Hawai’i Governor Lingle campaigned for Senator McCain and delivered one of Governor Palin’s endorsement speeches at the Republican National Convention.
