I have no idea why this is a federal matter. It sounds like a contract dispute to me.

Discrimination complaints generally go first to the federal EEOC. They investigate and either bring a lawsuit alleging discrimination or issue a “right to sue” letter to allow the person to file a private suit or do nothing.

When Richard Nixon did this, it was because he was "paranoid".

When a liberal does this, it's because a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy is out to get him/her.
