Maybe but I’m 100% certain that such assertions are stupid.
wonder what hugh ross would say?
It’s much higher than the odds of finding intelligent life on earth, especially if you’re on either U.S. coast.
Well I’m a 100% sure its gonna rain fudgesickles today, Mr. Astronomer. What do you think of THAT?
>>Maybe but Im 100% certain that such assertions are stupid.<<
Yep. I would like to ask him if there was always life on earth, even though, from a few light years away it looked as it does now.
Heck, I would not have balked at a 99% claim. But 100%? No wonder conservatives are skeptical of scientists. We know they are like the rest of us. Some even probably kick puppies when nobody is looking.
You are so right, this was absurd statement
>>Maybe but Im 100% certain that such assertions are stupid.<<
I forgot to mention that I think the comment is absolutely stupid as well, even though he is actually correct. But, seeing as that is my home planet, I would know that. And I also know it is NOT his. He is from this world and has never talked to me about it. Because I am the singular “ambassador” that ensures he does not have the information to make such an absurd assumption.
The red dwarf does offer lovely sunsets, btw.
Why is this suddenly becoming ‘Nwqa” when no one, absolutely no one, can possibly know if live is sustainable on any other panet unless they’ve been there and done that!
‘News”
LoL... (EDDIE MURPHY LAUGH)...
How about we send Professor Vogt on a 1-way mission to his favorite FLARE STAR, and see how he likes the space weather when he is BLASTED by megajoules of particle energy. I'd donate a radiation badge for him, but he won't need it for long.
These guys must be fundraising. They only get this nonsensical near the end of the fiscal year.
Seriously, 100% probability of life on a planet tidally locked to a flare star? I have some lottery tickets to sell this fool.
