He was climbing in the polls last week, before the public found out that he was running his own John Edwards style operation on the side.
Instead of sticking to the issues - which is what made him a contender - he's now repeating rumors about Cuomo's personal life and threatening reporters.
He has plenty of red meat to talk about on the issues, and when it comes to talking about personal lives he lives in a very fragile glass house.
He needs to get on message.
Paladino has a lot of emotional baggage - his son died suddenly last year and then he introduced his surviving family to his illegitimate daughter. This guy started out the year under a tremendous amount of personal strain - I hope his behavior over the past couple of days does not translate into a full-fledged meltdown.
Paladino, get it together.

Either you are a Cuomo supporter or you don’t know what you are talking about. First, who do you think leaked it about Palladino’s affair 10 years ago that produced a daughter? That’s right, Cuomo’s side. So if Carl has info on Cuomo’s infidelities in his marriage, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Go get him Carl. As to this newsman, it was his paper that sent out reporters and a cameraman to try to interview the mother of the ten year old whom Palladino had an affair with long ago, and tried to take pics of the kid. The cameraman allegedly came up to the window of the house and scared the heck out of the kid. So Carl is real po’d about this, and then this reporter from that paper gets up in Carl’s face at an event, a reporter who obviously is a Cuomo supporter himself as one can tell by the questions posed, and Carl lets him have it. Go Carl!
You have to see the confrontation to see just how this reporter instigated the whole incident, and this shyster reporter is now making the rounds of the talk shows this morning, getting his 15 minutes of fame. I love Palladino, he is just the kind of personality to ride heard on New York, he’s a fighter like his next door neighbor Chris Christie, and I hope he beats the pants off of Cuomo.
