No one expects privacy in a shared room. What if the kid hadn’t taped him but came back to the room because he forgot something? It’s his room too. No privacy can be expected.

No one expects privacy in a shared room.

Unless you ask for privacy and get an agreement that it will be given.

What if the kid hadn’t taped him but came back to the room because he forgot something?

Then the roommate would have violated the promise he made wouldn't he have?

It’s his room too. No privacy can be expected.

I guess a million excuses can be made for breaking agreements.
