That depends on who is doing the teaching. It also says that Jesus was writing in the dirt. I have long heard that it's thought he was writing the names of the Pharisees girlfriends. And no, that's not a joke.
However, that isn't even the point. The story says that they dragged the woman before Jesus. Where was the dude? He was also guilty of adultery. It was a hypocritical setup by the Pharisees to trap Jesus. They didn't care about the adultery. They wanted Jesus' head.
None of us is qualified to condemn another for his sin.
Repentant sinners most certainly ARE to tell others the difference between right and wrong. That's called judging. Condemnation is God's job. The two words are not interchangeable. If we aren't to judge then you cannot say that Mother Theresa was good but Bin Laden is bad.
What should be our response to his death?
Real love tells the truth even if it's hurtful. Lies kill. The left lies about homosexuality. There is no love in the lies. Nor in ignoring truth.
Many people on this thread are ignoring the fact that if this young man had not engaged in same sex acts, he would be alive today.
Institutions of “higher education” are now culturally accepted as places where “kids” go to classes part of the time and act like sluts the rest of the time. Obviously not each and every young person there, but it’s not only accepted, but encouraged.
Now go back and look at some of the comments on this thread. Some guys out there seem to think God's got 'em on contract.
