Shooter killed himself on sixth floor of library with AK-47. Campus still on lock down. Students were alerted by texting warning. No one else injured.
a “shooting on the sixth” sixth what? floor?
Pray for everyone’s safety. Tragic that another such incident could happen on this campus. Prepare for the inevitable smear of Texans coming from the gun grabbers.
ROP? Most Crazy whites would not shoot themselves right off the bat... Hmmm what is going on?
Source for second shooter? I’m getting no info on this and am talking to reporters (seem my thread from link above).
When does Obama take to the airwaves, live, to assault the Second Ammendment? 3...2...1...
6th floor of the main student library.
Austin police chief.
First guy ran into the library wearing a business suit and carrying an AK47. Only description of the 2nd shooter is that he’s a white guy.
Understand that I'm not doubting that you have a credible source for this, but one of my hobbies is watching how breaking news unfolds, and the reporting of multiple shooters is one of the most common mistakes.
Just venturing a guess, it was some despondent student who killed himself in the library, but that's only a guess.
Prayers up for those in need.
Most likely drug related. Lots of drugs and drug dealers hanging around UT.

“More Guns, Less Crime” is lecture by Second Amendment scholar
Time: 6-7:30 p.m.

He has held research positions at other academic institutions including the University of Chicago, Yale University and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from UCLA, but he is most known for the positions he takes in the gun rights debate.

Good! He'll have a packed house.
>> the reporting of multiple shooters is one of the most common mistakes <<
As are reports that shooters are in possession of “automatic” weapons.
(But in this particular case, perhaps later editions of the Austin newspaper will correct that common error.)
Suicidal temporary library worker who was going to get laid off soon.
