Why did he say he could have pulled strings to get his daughters into the better public schools of DC? Why didn’t he do that then? It would have been a powerful statement if he had sent his own kids to public schools. But instead, he sent them to an elite private school.

It’s funny sometimes these topics come up, where liberals deride rich Republicans for not having a vested interest in public schools, and sending their own kids to private schools, etc. But we see that wealthy Democrats do the same thing, and avoid sending their own kids to the public schools. As much as good liberals praise the public schools, those with a choice avoid those schools.

Here is the thing. Your mayor is a crackhead and people keep voting for him, making them idiots. Well if your parents are idiots there’s a good chance you will be an idiot also.

Unfortunately for the one’s who aren’t idiots and want to escape to get a better education, the man they worhip cut that option off at the knees.

And in 2010 and 2012 the idiots will reelect the same idiots.

Idiots.

Didn’t Jimmy Carter have his daughter in the public schools at first and it was a disaster. Although, maybe that’s where she learned so much about nuclear proliferation.
