Do your views apply to conservatives speaking to liberal groups too?
There are no liberal groups I know of who are trying to become a part of the conservative movement.
If, for example, the Brady Gun Controllers started a subgroup called Brady Gun Control Conservatives, and were pushing for acceptance as conservatives because they believe in balanced budgets, then I'd say any conservative treating them seriously would be making a mistake.
Do you see the distinction and point I'm focused on?
