Unfortunately, there aren't very many left here on Free Republic who even understand what you're talking about.

What's to understand? Our creditors have announced to their cohorts that they want us deeper in debt and therefore more subject to manipulation. It's "good for business."

So now the losers in the argument of 1776 are trying to stage a comeback. Sorry but assumptions advanced in this article are total nonsense.

The authors here indicates there are in complete ignorance of the US Constitution and it's principals. They also engage in the usual Leftist logical fallacy of attacking the Framers on a personal level in the mistake notion that the Framers failings as men some how discredits the ideas enshrined in the US Constitution. Total nonsense from the start.

The Constitution is silent on gay marriage? Apparently these authors have never read the 10th Amendment.

I don’t think we are headed dowon that path. Had 9/11 not happened, you might have been right, but the attack on the Pentagon, the WTC and flight 93 moved us into a diferent direction.

The elections will be a good test and I think it will become quite clear that we are moving differently than the UK or Europe for that matter.

I hope and pray you are correct.

I travel frequently in the UK. Motoring up the M1 one sees cameras on every (and I do mean every) overpass.

My better half got a very expensive ($110) traffic ticket in Wilmington, DE courtesy of a surveillance camera. The nice letter we got in the mail stated she did not come to a complete stop while turning a corner at a red light.

There are more and more cameras everywhere you look. Next time you are in a WalMart take a look around. You’ll be surprised.
