A reasonably educated person would not try to refute the ToE by way of asking why we can’t see monkeys evolving today.

Well since you demand an answer, who am I to deny you one. “Yes”.

Anyone who didn’t sleep through high school biology would know in this context the Theory of Evolution speaks to the SLOW process of biological change.

“Evolution (also known as biological, genetic or organic evolution) is the change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms through successive generations”. Over many generations, heritable variation in traits is filtered by natural selection and the beneficial changes are successively retained through differential survival and reproduction.”

Key words there, many and generations.

So we have Christine clearly showing she doesn’t understand even the most basic and easiest to understand point of the ToE when she says why she disagrees with it. People occasionally elect stupid senators, but I think few voters really do it on purpose.

And next week is almost sure to be worse.
