Obama: Ahmadinejad was 'hateful'

NEW YORK – President Barack Obama condemned Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s speech Thursday at the United Nations, in which Ahmadinejad blamed the United States for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, calling it “offensive” and “hateful.”

“And particularly for him to make the statement here in Manhattan, just a little north of Ground Zero, where families lost their loved ones, people of all faiths, all ethnicities who see this as the seminal tragedy of this generation, for him to make a statement like that was inexcusable,” Obama said in an interview Friday morning.

"And it stands in contrast with the response of the Iranian people when 9/11 happened, when there were candlelight vigils and I think a natural sense of shared humanity and sympathy was expressed within Iran," he said. "And it just shows once again sort of the difference between how the Iranian leadership and this regime operates and how I think the vast majority of the Iranian people who are respectful and thoughtful think about these issues."

Obama sat for an interview with BBC Persian, which has a large television and radio audience in the Middle East, in hopes he can get his message out to the Iranian people while in New York for the United Nations General Assembly.

So, just when do we break ground on that Civic Center, Boss? And while we're at it, which site are you thinking we can absorb the next hit on? Got a shovel ready project for that, too?

I'm beginning to think the President has a split personality. Which one is speaking today, Barrack H., Barry or who?

“offensive” and “hateful.”

How is this rather mild characterization any different from how he describes the Tea Party? Truth be known, he probably see's Ahmadinejad as a lesser threat.

“Obama: Ahmadinejad was ‘hateful’ “

Why would Obama say that? It makes no sense.

Ahmadinejad blames world capitalism for the world’s ills - so does Obama.

Ahmadinejad believes the USA has caused the worlds ills by pushing its weight around, illegally, and too much - so does Obama.

Ahmadinejad believes that Isreal is the source of all instability in the Middle East - so does Obama.

I could go on, but the truth is that other the the “9/11 inside job” statement from the front man for Iran’s dictators, much of what Ahmadinejad complains about regarding the U.S. has resonance with similar sentiments expressed in different form, at one time or another, by Obama.

I think they are jointly playing “good cop”, “bad cop” with the American public while seeking the same “change” - IN AMERICA.

Then why didn’t the US walk out like so many others did, President Liar?

I thought they did. At least, that's what they said on the local news yesterday and again this morning.

Why do you Mr. President keep giving him a platform?? He should not be allowed on American soil.

Since, as far as we know , Ahmadinejad cannot vote during the Presidential elections in this country, then Ahmadinejad is the lesser threat.

It probably struck Obama as particularly hateful as he strolled by the proposed site of the 9/11 Victory Mosque that he himself supports. F- yourself, you America-hating racist Kenyan-born Moslem a-hole.

Heck, tell us how you really feel. ;-)

Remember that the phrase, “Obama says” cannot be followed by any true statement.
