The notion that the video cameras all failed makes me more than a little suspicious. One wonders what the cops and Costco are trying to hide that would be revealed by the video. The “malfunction” is a little too convenient here.
If the 911 tape vanishes, the fix is completely in.
Both costco and the LE are facing huge civil suits let alone criminal charges if tapes showing them in the wrong appear. Yeah, all cameras mysteriously malfunction at the same time...uh huh...

The store manager testified that the video system failed the evening of July 8, that he had called the repair company, who scheduled a technician to go to the store to fix the system on the following Monday, the 12th.
The shooting occurred on the 10th.
It was stated earlier that there is a Off-Site recording of all Costco Stores surveillance videos, as required by their insurance carrier. This was revealed by the Scott Family attorney in a previous thread.
Sue the video manufacturer, the security folks supposed to be running it...
