Had it been my kid doing the bullying not only would he not have to apologize to me, I would apologize to him and also explain that my kid would be sitting in pain for a week after I got done with his behind.
Some things you just have to turn a blind eye to within reason, a father defending a handicapped daughter he loves from bullies is one of them IMHO.
I’m with you, Abathar! Woe be to any child of mine that engaged in this sort of behavior. I’ll even go so far as to say that I would be disappointed and ashamed (and a little angry) if I even heard that my sons stood by and did nothing to protect this girl.
They’ve been raised better than that, I hope.
