INCOLN, Del. Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is making light of comments she made more than a decade ago when she was in high school about having dabbled in witchcraft.
"How many of you didn't hang out with questionable folks in high school?" she asked fellow Republicans at a GOP picnic in southern Delaware on Sunday.
"There's been no witchcraft since. If there was, Karl Rove would be a supporter now," O'Donnell jokingly assured the crowd.

Hmmmm...wonder who Obama hung out with in high school? Too bad no one cared.
The same people attacking her were attacking her last week, so I don’t think the attacks have anything to do with witchcraft.
Yes. That is one thing totally missing from today’s Republican Party is humor. They threw so much away from the Reagan era.
Wait a minute, I am confused here...if she were in high school in 1999, that would place her at about 30 years old, not old enough to qualify for a Senatorial seat.
How did she run against Biden a couple of years ago?
Didn't Rove say her college tuition was 12-15 years delinquent?
Caller to Rush or Hannity was first I heard on Wednesday.
How about 666 Rove?
The question isn't which questionable folks she hung out with in high school it is the questionable folks her opponent hangs out with today.
I think some caller to the Hannity show did.
She spoke a decade ago about events that happened even further in the past.
I think she ran twice. She was the Republican Party’s official candidate.
Just the kind of masterful writing we've come to expect from the MSM. The sentence implies that she MADE the comment when she was in high school, a decade ago. But she was born in 1969, which makes her 41 yrs old. My main question was going to be, why was she on the Bill Maher show so many times, but a quick scan of her biography reveals that she has been a staunch advocate for morality for the last 14 years. I guess Maher had her on to use as comic relief for his adamantly immoral/amoral audience. Well, the joke's on him; turns out a sizeable proportion of voters agree with her.
Correction, at 30 yo she is old enough but how did she run a couple of years ago?
They try. They fail.
She’s still a babe.
Ah, so the article is poorly written....shocked I am.
She looks so young it's easy to be confused, just how young a lady is she, do you happen to know?
41, IIRC
She made the comment a decade ago, about when she was in HS in the 80s.
No it didn't. It wasn't a smear. It originated out of the mouth of Christine O'Donnell herself on Mayer's show. It's on Youtube for all to see. She has only herself to blame for making such an idiotic statement. She was young etc but she now has to deal with it in the political realm and the dems will make hay out of it and we would do the same to one of theirs. Such is politics.
It's important that she discusses this, as it humanizes her. Christine's appeal comes from that she's just an everyday person and had the same problems that most individuals do during their lives.
I think after watching Obama get elected and not being vetted, some Republicans aren't going to go for the double-standard. I'd elect a felon as a Republican candidate, if he or she explains the circumstances surrounding it.
She is 41 years old.
Born August 27, 1969 (1969-08-27) (age 41)
I hope this young lady wipes the crap outta the bearded marxist, the people are speaking!
Hah, I got that job, to bad for you.
