This obviously shows poor judgement, but it was 10 years ago, and she seems to be a committed Christian now. If someone attacked a Democratic candidate for being a pagan or witch, they'd be called a bigot.

Idiot Maher doesn’t realize he’s helping her with this talk of “a body a week.”

Actually the interview was 11 years ago. The “dabbling” in witchcraft was probably 20 or more years ago.

This smear stuff is getting ridiculous. If she "dabbled in witchcraft," it was only to help make her a better-informed Christian.
And, by the way, she can produce her birth certificate.

” So, by this standard libs should vote for her too. Good. Settled! “
LOL!

This is a sign of true sweaty-palms desperation. She’s the new “Sarah Palin/Target Who Must Be Destroyed” - they are terrified of her. I hope she stays strong, cause they’re going to drag her through every feces pile they can.
Hang in there Christine - we’ve got your back.

WASHINGTON POST is reporting this? Unbelievable. How many teens have some kind of “goth” phase at some point? I know a girl in H.S. who watched “The Crow” and a few other flicks and got into goth with black lipstick, Satanic friends, piercings, etc. She now works the Family Research Council.

Definition of leftists:
In school, we had a few bullies, the kids picked on, and the girls that liked ponies. The rest of us went on with our lives and never hung out with any of them, and got pissed if anyone dared bully us.
In college, we had a few agitators, the kids that demanded to be noticed to overcompensate for a former life of being pussies, and the girls that liked womyn ponies. The rest of us went on with our lives and never hung out with any of them, and got pissed if anyone dared bully us.
In adult life, we have the liberals who once were class bullies, kids picked on, and girls that love ponies. And the rest of us are trying to get on with our lives, never hang out with any of them, and are getting pissed that they think they can bully us.

Yeah, and who's the dem that takes off with aliens every so often. Kucinich I think. Doesn't Calypso Louie have a thing going with
The Mother Ship too?
This isn't going to fly. Glass houses, rocks etc.

Then she was in her teens? Seriously, what a joke.
She gave an interview several years ago where she said she did a lot of bad things in college, and I'm guessing this is one of them. I would agree with you and the others. While there are criticisms of her to be made, this isn't one of them and Maher is just being an ass and wanting some attention. The last few years haven't been kind to him.
To: don-o
I assume she no longer practices witchcraft. Sounds to me like she never "practiced" it, just knew some people who did.

The witchcraft thing sounds completely inconsequential.
The gender discrimination suit is more troubling, but at the end of the day, who cares? All she has to do as senator is cast the right votes, and unless she’s a total fraud she will probably do that. Does the gender discrimination suit make her a total fraud? I don’t think so.
No experience in office — yeah, so? We’re not asking her to be an executive, just a legislator. If Al Franken can pull it off, so can she.

"How do you know that she is a witch?" She weighs the same as a duck.
