There is a right and wrong way to protect children. This way is wrong...(but we can still understand what the father was feeling, and why he acted the way he did)
Not guilty.
Exactly.
Why even leave open the question of "is it an empty threat".
The school won’t do anything about the bullies because they fear a lawsuit.
This is just like the FBI telling the woman to fend for herself because the Islamists are after her.
Both entities are spineless and worthless. Government could save a lot of money getting rid of both.
For three years I have stepped up on to the bottom stair and watched my son board the bus and sit down. Now I have two sons on the bus and the driver and the director are both claiming it's a felony. The director says that the law's been in effect for five years. We have a new company managing the buses. Before it was run by the school system although they retained all the drivers. We used to have a different driver - this guy is new to us.
I requested the law but it's been two weeks and she claims that she has people working on getting it to me.
Yep, here in Illinois it is basically the politicians and their henchmen on a looting spree, laws and ethics be damned.
Most likely, this will only embolden them more, now that the father is in trouble. They found out that the "law" was on their side.
This is not too different from the problem that we have in the Middle East. The only way to deal with bullies is to kick the stuffing out of them, not appease them.
There is only one sure way to take care of a bullie, and that's a serious ass whooping.
Jury nullification bump!
Of course, just like always, the school did nothing to stop the little punks. All it would have taken was for them to be kicked off the bus and things wouldn’t have escalated. That bus driver should have been fired for letting them behave that way on his bus. My money is on the bus driver being a coach and that’s why nothing will ever be done to him. Short of death threats, I’d have been on that bus just like that dad. While you can’t threaten kids, he did right.
I’ll send money for his defense.
He called the school....they did nothing.
I’m with you...
Yes, his other option was waiting until they got off the bus so he wouldn’t be seen by the camera.
Obviously another messed up public school
At the end of the article it mentions that the police are now investigating the allegations of bullying and some of the children might be facing charges.
This would not have happened if the Father did not do what he did.
He did what he had to to put an end to the abuse that other people’s ill-raised monsters were doing to his daughter. I’m behind him 100%.
>>>>Sorry, I have to go against what the father did. There had to be other options.
Open the can of whoop-ass on the Principal, teachers, and bus driver who did nothing to stop what was being done to his daughter is the other option, that should be exercised immediately.
Some punk strikes the guy's handicapped daughter. I am likely to look the other way for a few minutes. Oh by the way, did he kill them? Or merely scare the livin' squat out of them? Having these kids live in fear for a while would do them some good...
Now, if these boys burned a koran and the dad blew the bus up, kids and all, the media would be tripping over themselves to talk about the hatred of these children.
That is what I did when my kid got beat up by a larger kid.
I went to the father’s door and told him it was no longer between the kids ,but between him and I , and If I came over again he better be ready to do battle.,
