The “establishment” does not realize that the average person has had it with the Democrats wanting us to be governed by the thugocracy of the UN and the RINOs wanting us to be governed by Thurston Howell IV. We want to get back to the principles embodied in the Constitution...and we will do that by tossing the Dems and the RINOs out of office. We also realize that decent candidates need cash and, despite times being tough, we are opening our wallets.
And to think they started with a goal of much less than that...
Maybe Rush saying ‘if everybody gave one dollar... there would be no need for the NRSC or RNC...’ did something for the fund raising.
