The rate seems to be slowing down a bit, but each percentage point now is more real money, so maybe it is the same.

I want her to walk into her meeting with my senator (John Cornyn from Texas) and NRSC chairman with list of her donations, “Hey John, here’s the ~7500+ people who’ve donated over $1M in about 72 hours to my campaign. See how much came from Texas alone? Do you really want to tick off these donors by trashing my candidacy?”

There are countless signs of rebellion. Scott Brown, Cristine O’Donnell, Chris Cristie, Rand Paul, Carl Paladino, Joe Miller, Sharon Angle, etc, etc. They can choose to ignore at their peril. I am fifty. I remember 1980. I remember 1994. This is different.
