WILMINGTON, Del. – Conservative activist Christine O'Donnell earned a stunning victory in Delaware's Republican Senate primary Tuesday, riding a wave of tea party anger and advertising dollars to oust U.S. Rep. Michael Castle.
O'Donnell's shocking win gave new energy to the tea party movement, which targeted Castle after victories by Republican tea party candidates in the Alaska and Nevada Senate primaries.
With 78 percent of precincts reporting, O'Donnell had 54 percent to 46 percent for Castle, a former two-term governor and the longest serving congressman in Delaware history.

I just saw Carl Rove on fox and he looked like his dog just got ran over. He was busy spewing the Castle talking points trying to bash O’Donnell. What a RINO slimebag. I always thought of Rove as just a beltway RINO type. Now I can see it for sure.
She won by 3000 votes, I wonder how much that hour + did for her.

Since the RNC and NRSC has said it will “give up the fight” if O’Donnell wins, I humbly suggest we give up any and all support for the RNC and NRSC. DO NOT GIVE THESE SCUMBAG RINOs A SINGLE PENNY this cycle. Tell Mikey Steele and John Cornyn to go to hell. We will support Jim DeMint and the TPE and ride Christine to VICTORY on Nov. 2nd without them.

And if they don’t, Castle would be as good as a Democrat. Heard that he gave Harry Reid his word that he would vote for Cap and Trade. That is no different than a Democrat vote.
Just watched Karl Rove savage Christine O’Donnell on Hannity. He has jumped the shark. He accused her of everything under the sun, including the homosexual charge against Castle and being delusional about stalkers. Then, oh so big of him, says he’ll support the Republican but we’ve lost the seat.
Please Karl, go home and retire while your dignity is still intact. With support like this, it’s going to be up to the tea partiers to keep beating them over the head.

Yeah, Rove just said that the GOP will likely gain 7-8 seats in the Senate instead of the 10 needed to control Congress because of the O’Donnell victory. Blah, blah, blah.
Castle would of been another Jumpin Jeffords if Obama needed.

Rove is a political strategist. He understands what every political strategist knows, O'Donnell will not win Delaware. Period. That means that this seat goes from a likely Rep Pickup to a Dem Hold.
Castle is a RINO, but would have been, on balance, much better than Coons.
God bless her for her victory...she will lose the general
