Well, you know, Rove is *not* a fan of Sarah's, so she might have something to say. She's also employed by Roger Ailes and as you know, Sarah is here in the lower 48 this week.
Yes, just listened to her speak in Kansas City, MO last night and she mentioned that she was off to Oklahoma.
Bush was never popular in the NE. That’s something to consider when determining how blue a state is.
Cowboy hats do not go over well up here. That includes Delaware. Maybe it worked for Reagan because it was fresh, perhaps.
A stylish, likeable conservative can win in the NE. Especially when people don’t like what the opposition is doing. There are a lot of light, as opposed to hard core, liberals or moderates, for whom style is important. The young are not wedded to Obama, they just preferred him to McCain on style points. War Hero doesn’t mean as much to 25 year olds as it does to an older set. Obama was just cooler than McCain. I had trouble back in 2008 actually arguing the issues with Obama supporters. But they were certain that Obama was the superior candidate.
If they want a civil war, they're gonna get it. As I've said to you before BC, I think the establishment may just be willing to accept a fracturing of the party rather than capitulate like they did in 1980. It may be 1964 all over again. Not good.
I look forward to what Gov. Palin has to say but this is a great night for CO, Delaware and the grassroots.
