Posters coming and going is part of the inevitable friction. This site has seen times that provided a few "opus" posts each week.
The mass separation that I had in mind involved the formation of a website, "WideAwakes." IIRC, the friction point was Rudy Giuliani.
Happy to read your report that PhiKapMom is still posting here. And, FWIW, from what I read into her personality from her posting style, I would not expect any sort of "snit" departure from her.
Yes, I recall some Freepmail conversations with her and she seemed normal. ;) But I know sometimes I get a little ruffled by things people post to me and I take a few days off. I don’t generally announce it tho. I just let the dust settle. Mostly so I don’t go post something I’ll later regret that makes me look like a total idiot. I’d rather let the other person look like one. :)
