Blackpowder explodes a tad slower than modern gunpowder. We don't know the facts yet, but if it was a blackpowder pipe bomb it may have been powerful enough to rip off his clothes, and his head with them, but not powerful enough to disrupt the torso to any great degree.

Leftwingtards sometimes make the rather remarkable argument that since blackpowder was the only explosive "gunpowder" known at the time of the adoption of the Bill of Rights, the First Amendment should only apply to firearms or other weapons that use blackpowder.

Their thought is that blackpowder was safer ~ yet, there's a guy with his head blown clean off!

So much for liberal myths.

Yes - the liberal argument that the Constitution is a living document except for the 2nd Amendment. Then, and only then, should the Constitution be kept within its time.
