Most people in America think that all the Soviets just magically went away after the USSR “collapsed.” They do not realize that those people are still around, still very dangerous, and that they still wish ill to the USA. The USA becomes more like the USSR every day. I remain dubious that we “won” the Cold War, after all.

I think the Russians will play the jihadis against the US, along with the Chinese, if they can. If their adversaries wear each other out, it makes conquest easier.
