When are the GOP elites going to realize that they need to surrender now to the conservatives in the party or the conservatives will break away & form a new party? Don’t they realize THEIR actions, if successful, will destroy the GOP?

We conservatives will not back off so they better wake up before it’s too late.

‘Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely’ - They can’t let it go...it’s like a disease.

I have come to the conclusion that they simply do not care. Characters such as Lugar, Castle, McCain, Kirk, etc. would much rather call themselves 'democrats' than risk losing their cushy jobs-for-life, or be seen 'caving in to the extremists'. Count on it. "I didn't leave the party, the party left me." We'll hear a lot of that soon if we don't organize and throw these bums out, one at a time, in the primaries. If anyone thinks that this upcoming election is the end-all to our socialism problem, they will be disappointed. It will take many elections, and major re-organization from the precinct level up. Time, money, shoeleather, time, work and time. Maybe overtime. These people aren't going anywhere, or doing anything voluntarily.
