Didn’t “the rich” pay into social security? Is that not their money? Who is the government, any government, to say “we took it from you, we promised to give it back at a prescribed time but...well...you made enough money so we’ve decided not to give you your money back”.

Exactly. Why is no one talking about the welfare freeloaders who can work like everyone else, but simply choose not to? They've never done anything for anyone. They've never contributed anything. WHY are we supporting these people, and why is no one talking about getting rid of this waste? It costs billions each year for these people to sit home on their lazy butts and contribute - absolutely NOTHING

Id like to see the day that the federal government confiscates 50% of the politicians income just like they do to me

My old tagline was “Most “have nots” are not “can nots” they are “will nots”.

Like most people, I’m all for helping someone get back on their feet until they can provide for themselves. The idea that we have generations born into welfare that live and die on the government dole though....that’s a disgrace.
