Right now we are going to take back the house and possibly the senate more on revulsion against the Obamacrats than on conservative principles and that is unfortunate.
To think we can win the electorate we have today, and then in 2012 with an all conservative ticket isn't grounded in reality.
Our best hope is to at least get the top of the ticket to be conservative, and not a McCain or Dole (or Romney!!!) type. We'll have to deal with the political landscape if and when that happens. Right now we are needing to focus on November and neutering these creeps called democrats. Come 2012, if we are fortunate enough to get a solid conservative at the top, rather than a Romney, he or she will choose how to win, much like Reagan did in 1980. He chose to use a moderate to get elected, I doubt that will change if we get a conservative nominated.
We shall see how it plays out, yes?
Leftists may dominate the upper echelons of institutions, but many of these institutions are hollow shells with numbers of rebellious underlings. The institutions of government are particularly vulnerable, since we still get to vote, and even though leftists excel in voter fraud, they can’t overcome large wins. They may run the media (regular MSM style), but fewer and fewer people believe the not-even-subtle propaganda - and even some of the MSM are become disillusioned with 0thugga and all that he typifies. More and more people get their news and views elswhere - like on FR!
More and more young people are becoming pro-life, for one thing, and for another, whenever same sex marriage is put to the people, they turn it down, over and over again.
I say an all-conservative ticket it grounded in reality, and will give the regular people a reason to get enthused, get to the voting booth and be energized as you haven’t seen them energized before.
