Standing a post is different than going out to "pick fights." It has come to the point where Islam is encroaching on American Judeo-Christian-inspired freedoms, and CHRISTIANS MUST STAND POSTS to defend those freedoms. Look to other nations in Europe and see what happens when the Christians there mistake standing a post and defending their territory as "going out to pick fights." Burning Korans, a symbolic act, is part of standing that post while keeping within the prescribed Christian teachings: it is a peaceful, necessary warning to Islam to halt now or be met with real, not symbolic, resistence.
The time will come, Brother or Sister Christian, when we will be faced with the reality of this: that our fight for freedom and our fight to defend the Judeo-Christian ethic are one and the same. It is a hard pill for an increasingly secular and very pampered society to swallow.
It’s very, very nice to have a society more or less enlightened by biblical ideals, but absolutely essential for Christians to actually evangelize, i.e. play some part in winning souls.
