The good Lord does care about at least one physical object, and that’s the bodies people were given. They are supposed to be viewed (if Christian) as temples of the Holy Spirit, or (if not Christian) potential temples of the Holy Spirit and certainly images of God.
There’s some more, like communion and its varying interpretations among Christendom, but all involving physical items.
Nice try but you might want to tell that to the people on the streets at 9/11 as they watched and heard "Bodies" splat on the pavement and the buildings... and thought those "bodies" were debrie from the buildings...they were however "Bodies and parts of Bodies" falling in numbers and numbers...They were falling because of ISlam and the Koran and those who teach it.
