I've always respected you as well, but I dislike it very much when someone misinterprets what I say.
"Campaign for" does not mean "accomplish."
I don't have any kind of "pull," nor have I claimed such.
But if that poster or any other makes slanderous accusations like that again, I will make some noise. Whether it's heard or not is beyond my control.
I am sick and tired of the idiots over the past week who have called me a "traitor," a "coward," accused me of "treason" and other such nonsense simply because they're too stupid to comprehend what someone is saying or they have some silly insecure ax to grind and twist my words beyond recognition in order to assuage their own feelings of inadequacy.
I've never had much patience for stupid people. As a Christian, I know I should, but it's a shortcoming of mine.
I disagree with you about this subject, but I would never call you any of those things. You are expressing a legitimate point of view in a clear fashion, although you don't need me to tell you that. You are a brave patriot working in a difficult part of the world, and I hope my posting a pic of something that occurred in the privacy of my home doesn't bring harm to you.
As for the other, it is ... unseemly ... to threaten other people's posting privileges. I've seen it too many times, and I'm sure the Mods hate it when it happens. I know I sure would, and I'm not a Mod. I get the distinction between "campaign" and "accomplish," but it's a distinction without much of a difference. I'd be a terrible Mod....
