I was in calculus class, senior year of high school.
Our state senator’s son came in 30 minutes late, as usual, and said “sorry I’m late, a plane hit the World Trade Center.” The teacher said “that’s a weird excuse this time,” and he said “no, really...look” and turned on the TV.
We didn’t get back to the lesson plan...but we got an even greater lesson that day.
Never forget: http://attacked911.tripod.com/
(I watch this tribute every year. If it doesn’t bring a tear to your eye, then you have no soul.)
I could not cry after 911..and I really needed to.
This tribute broke the dam..and although there are many wonderful tributes..this one I watch every year..and it always touches me deeply..
