Supporting Jim DeMint is hardly a sign of liberalism.
It is perhaps instructive that when he gave up his seat, he tried to get his less than outstanding son as his replacement. The district elected Dr. Michael Burgess instead. Burgess is pretty solidly conservative.
Yeah, but taking a ponderous warhorse like DeMint to the Kentucky Derby while leaving its lightning fast filly like Palin in the stable is just plain stupid.
DeMint is a conservative with his feet planted firmly in Washington D.C. GOP establishment could see him as a foil for Palin.
They want Romney—anyone other than Palin.

DeMint is just a name he picked out of the air.
Just like the Dem/socialists, he fears Palin’s obvious facility at getting the rot out. When you’re part of the rot, the last thing you want to see coming is a drum of Get-Rot.
