Nancy Pelosi to Democrats: Pay up

With the House Democratic majority in peril, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her lieutenants are pressing tightfisted rank-and-file members to open their wallets in an effort to save their most vulnerable incumbents.
The reluctance of various politically safe or retiring members — a group that includes some powerful veteran Democrats — to part with their cash is frustrating party leaders, who want to ensure that House Democrats have the financial resources to compete on an exceptionally broad playing field of races this fall.
“The house is burning and you have an opportunity to put out the fire, but you’re across the street whistling,” lamented a senior Democratic aide familiar with the fundraising efforts. “What are they holding out on?”
“There has got to be a team effort if we are going to make it through the next two months,” this person said. “By holding out, they are doing a real disservice to their colleagues.”
According to a party document obtained by POLITICO, a crowded roster of lawmakers has yet to fulfill their Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee dues expectations.
The list of Democrats who have come up short ranges from veterans like Rep. Jim Cooper, the prominent Tennessee Blue Dog, and Rep. Robert Brady, the Philadelphia Democratic Party boss, to younger members like Anthony Weiner, the fiery New York liberal.

Sounds like they know they are riding a dead horse so they are keeping their wallets in their pockets.
Who am I to tell the Democrat Party what their strategy ought to be, but why can’t the national party just run ads touting Obama and the Democrat Congress’ great successes and promise for more of the same in the 112th Congress?
Around here, Mr. Altmire is running ads without even identifying what party he is representing (D).
Some of them are probably saving up to pay their back taxes and legal bills.

It’s time for all the democrats to pay up...they bet their careers on a radical leftist and socialist agenda and it’s time for them to pay up for their crimes.

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need” becomes “From each according to the balance of his campaign account, to each according to the seats we want to save”.
Just as the democrats sneered at the public when they passed Obamacare (”we know better how to manage your healthcare”), they now learn that The Party feels they same about them (”Nancy Lugosi knows better how to manage your campaign funds”). I hope they bleed each other dry like a school of piranha gone mad.

Should the Dark Lord & his demons prevail, the next headline will read:

How much has she given to the cause?
How about Barack? His minions still control about $200 Billion in stimulus funds, and he's called for $50 Billion more. That $ goes to pay off unions and wealthy donors, who gave and will give generously to Obama's campaign. Why not divert a few of those billions to needy dems?
How about it, Pelosi? Obama? YOU FIRST.
Pelosi so loves Keynesian theory that she should underwrite all of her minions.
Then we will see if multiplier is greater then one.
