Obama answers that the bad economy is making people anxious, exacerbating divisions. Praises his predecessor George W. Bush for his sensitivity toward Muslims right after 9/11, and wants to get back to that kind of spirit. Terrorism are the common enemy, and we should not “turn on each other,” Obama says.
