I believe that GE supported this ban on incandescent bulbs.
They were 100% behind it. Incandescent bulbs sell for as little as 25 cents each. The mercury filled flourescents sell for as little as $1.00 to as much as $6 each. Made in China and will probably cost 10 cents to make.
