Her father's surprise pick of Sarah Palin to be his running mate so shocked Meghan McCain that she became hysterical and "panicked," the Arizona senator's daughter told Jay Leno Wednesday.
"I found out an hour before I went on stage with her. I think they were scared I would say something or whatever. Like the rest of the country, I had no idea who she was and I was actually crying on the bus on the way to the rally," said McCain, who is promoting her new book, "Dirty, Sexy, Politics."
"And then I found out who she was, and I remember being on stage and distinctly thinking, 'God, let her not have any skeletons in the closet. Please God.' And if you see any video footage of it, I looked panicked," se added. "I was scared, just really scared. I didn't know her. "

Palin was the most popular Governor in America, a Republican, the first female and youngest Governor of Alaska, and Meghan had never heard of her, not exactly a strong endorsement of her GOP political knowledge and awareness.

Megan wishes Palin was an albatross around her fathers neck only to defer attention from the fact that the chubby loudmouth daughter is the second biggest albatross for McCain behind his “reach across the aisle” phony conservatism.

Megan McCain and Levi Johnson may be the idiots they seem to be, but maybe just maybe they are engaged in a contest to say the most outrageous thing to the MSMediots and have them repeat it as truth.
No serious person would take such a statement as this as truthful. Megan McCain did not know anyone that her father might have picked as his VP nominee. The idea that she reacted any differently to Palin than any other potential nominee is silly. I suspect, if she almost cried, it was not when her father pick Gov. Palin, but rather when the MSMediot immediately showed their fear of Gov. Palin and started attacking her including to Megan McCain.
With her on the ballot, they actually had a shot at winning the election!
