“I think if you surveyed the soldiers, they would not claim to be fighting for people like that.”

I HAVE surveyed the soldiers, and they say that is EXACTLY they kind of thing they are fighting for. Freedom of speech is not reserved for speech that is commendable. We have to stand up for it even when it makes you sick.

Perhaps this preacher is proving a bigger point that although his act of burning the Koran is reprehensible, he is free to do so. As is the guy building a mosque at GZ. Neither are a good idea.

What’s reprehensible about it? They don’t hesitate to burn Bibles or consficate and destroy them, ban ‘em, ban any public relgious activity for Christians, etc. You are sounding like a “good” Dhimmi.
Any concession to Muzzies is taken as a sign of weakness. What will it take for people to “get” this?

Don’t agree !

You can’t see the difference between a symbolic action like burning a Koran and building a mosque which will stay there for decades and centuries near Ground Zero?

Well ,that’s surprising !
