There is nothing in Acts 19 or any other passage of Scripture that supports burning any book you don't like.
Actually the Old Testament is filled with references to burning the sacred items of idolators. The Muslims treat the Koran as a sacred object and not merely as a book. Hence it would be in the same category as an idol. If the Muslims treated it as nothing more than a book, then burning it would not invoke such a visceral response. It is their idol.
FWIW the Christian Church has a loooooooooooooong tradition and history of burning books it didn't like.
“There is nothing in Acts 19 or any other passage of Scripture that supports burning any book you don’t like.”
strawman....they arent burning “any book they dont like”....they are burning the koran to smoke out the religion of “peace”...and I would add....a wole crop of Dhimmi hand wringers who would submit to the rule of islam when the sword is put to their neck...
Looks like it’s working...
The day it is illegal to burn a Koran in the United States of America, is the day that Islam is supreme and sharia law is enforced by the Govt.
I will not submit.
The church of Acts burned their own books that they had used in defiance of God. After they became Christians they burned the books as a testimony of their changed hearts.
I doubt this demonstration has similar motives.
