Just thought of a question for you, P....
Was U.S. opposition to the Nazis wrong because Stalin also opposed them?
Isn't the reason behind our opposition the crux of the matter, and not the fact that others agree with the opposition for entirely different (and opposing) reasons?
Those of us who oppose this irresponsible act are not in agreement with Osama bin Laden OR Eric Holder.
We are in opposition because of our conservative principles, our understanding of what it means to be Christian and Americans.
I understand that there will be others who have a different take on this, and feel that rights supercede responsibility and discernment, but if we're being completely straightforward about it, then all conservative, Christian Americans should support the Ground Zero mosque for the same reason......should we not?
Nope, because Islam is not a religion. It's a political movement. The cultic aspects are merely the ruse to establish a despotic regime and, in our case, overthrow the Constitution.
The Constitution, as some famous American said, is not a "sucide pact" in which rights can be finessed to overthrow those same rights.
