Thanks for the link. Phelps is leading people away from God for his own angry cause, just as Jones did. He is killing them spiritually just as Jones killed them physically. Rom 12:19--Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge;

Knowing the history of our founding and the number of Freemasons involved...I'd have to say they side with freedom and self determination....rather than enslavement and submission to an authority lesser than a deity...

if the message intended is that the Koran is a hateful book for an intolerant religion, burning it is a poor way to make the point. It gives Christians a black eye. Far better to simple EDUCATE people.

Well, it's a start toward education. And if someone gets a black eye in the process, who gives a ...since our values, our traditions, our Constitution, and everything we cherish has a stake in this. Islam, with it's sharia law, are incompatible with everything we hold dear. A black eye? How bout a pelting they while never forget?

You might be wise beyond your years. Or, simply wise in spite of your years. Either way, by your stated beliefs, you are wise. Since as you suggest, freedom and self determination are divinely inspired. We are a nation of free men.
As such, we will die free. And, we are willing to die defending our freedom from enemies both foreign and domestic.

Currently we are battling both. All the while, at least at this juncture, counting on our Constitution and our rule of law to prevail. If it fails us, then we have no choice but to seek alternatives. Since Islam and it’s imposition of sharia law is not compatible with our Constitution.

That it is posted isn’t offensive - people need to know just what sort of “church” this is that is getting all the free media and administration publicity. For the same reason Reverend Wright’s drivel needed to be posted so people could see just what sort of kooky church he led, too.
