As Economy Struggles, Confidence In Obama Wanes

Excerpt:

President Obama makes remarks on the economy at the Milwaukee Laborfest on Sept. 6, 2010 in Milwaukee, Wis. Obama unveiled plans to spend at least $ 50 billion to expand and renew U.S. roads, railways and airports, in a fresh bid to fix the economy.

If there is any place President Obama is going to get the benefit of the doubt, it’s here in his hometown.

Yet public opinion polls show that even here, confidence has slipped. Though they’re a bit hesitant to talk about it.

When one resident was asked how Mr. Obama was doing, the answer was not very convincing.

“Don’t ask me that question.”

A union boss slush fund. He’s making sure all these union stooges are paid in full just in time for the midterm election. Just part two of his American Recession and Redistribution Act. Needlessly spending $50B more to keep the unemployment rate below 8 percent.
