The tankers couldn't fly yesterday because of high winds and couldn't fly this morning because without the winds an inversion had formed holding the smoke in. Sheesh, we can't win. Sounds like they're flying this afternoon, though.
According to 9 News with the lower winds it's not spreading much today. Hope that's true.
On the radio it was reported that numerous homes lost including the homes of 9 volunteer firefighters.
