Obama is a horrible speaker. Terrible cadence, inflection, and body language for starters. His voice has a dry, clipped sound that makes it drone. It’s as though, because he’s black and a Dem, then he must, ipso facto, be wonderful.

Yes! We agree! :) I also don't think he hides his arrogance very well--in tone or body language.
People critcized GWB--but he was GREAT off script. BHO is never great.

Add to the fact that Obama is, indeed, a terrible speaker by any objective standard, the fact that he is also derisive and arrogant, and you have perhaps the worst public speaking American President we have ever had.
And that includes Cal Coolidge, who was silent! ;)
