ATLANTA — More than 1,000 people stood in the cold air Wednesday for a chance to meet a former president and first lady.

President George W. Bush and his wife Laura will autograph copies of their books Thursday at a Borders Store off Peachtree Road in Buckhead.

The book store announced Tuesday you would need to stand in line Wednesday to get a wristband.
