That is why I posted my comments. My laptop almost became a frisbee when I heard that interview with Hewitt.

Those would only help the Republicans. This would be a reminder for those that forgot, Democrats should never be trusted with our National security.

The Obama experiment is a complete failure.

I can see a complete banking collapse, a major terrorist attack or a fake assssination attempt or a “we got an OBL moment.

How would a banking collapse or terrorist attack help Obama and the dems? Short answer - it wouldn't. Banking collapse would prove the dems and all of their programs did NOT help save anything. A terrorist attack would show the current admin could not stop an attack, while GWB did for 7 years following 9/11. Finally, get real. The democrats are NOT going to stage a "fake assassination attempt". What ARE you drinking? Good grief.

There is no way the libs will sit back & watch this happen without creating a major incident.

Sure they will. They are in denial. What did they do in 1994 to stop it? It CAN'T be stopped.

John “Tan Man” Boehner is going to be a problem. Screw seniority. I am tired of the entitlement mentality that says “my turn”. I want the best

No kidding. It is a gift. If we win the congress and senate they have two years to complain that we are to blame for all of their failures.

So, according to you, we'd be playing right into the democrats hands by voting for conservatives! How tricky of them! I'm so glad you warned me of this before November! Now, I know how to beat the democrats at their own game - vote for the democrats! Thank you for saving the country! We almost fell for it and voted for conservatives!

Everything in the lamestream media, See BS News included, is to be taken with a grain of salt.

I do not believe, however, hussein is prepared for a massiving shellacking. he thought he’d lose several seats, but i do not believe he thought it would be catastrophic.

he will, of course, try to be a “clinton” in the aftermath. but there are two problems for him:

1. Republicans are (or ought to be by now) aware that the status quo will no longer do. they must govern from the right and NOT become what they became in the years of 1995-2006.

2. hussein is attitudinally less capable of triangulating than clinton. clinton truly was a liberal but also capable of backslapping people like a mike huckabee. hussein is a fake—and everyone who really thinks he is a man capable of embracing personability and likeability traits is delusional.

i hope the republicans can stall, defund, and stand up to the onslaught of media attacks and white house lies that will come in the next 2 years. they need to remain POSITIVE, telling the American people the truth and working for them.

Paul Ryan is an outstanding young man who can hold his own on policy and does not come across as an old fuddy duddy...same with Marco Rubio, and some others. The old guard in our party needs to be willing to step aside, not totally of course, but to let some of these folks be the public face in some degree.

They can take on hussein’s agenda with a happy face, AND have the facts on their side.

We’ll see another conservative tsunami in 2012 if we do.

In fact, 0bama wants the dims to lose so that he will have someone to blame and run against in 2012 re Clinton 1994/96.

What a bunch of hogwash. Things weren't bad in 1996, which is why Clinton was re-elected. Period. You think things were horrible but he got re-elected because he said "it's not my fault, it's the republicans!" What a joke. The economy improved and people's anger subsided from 1994. It's as simple as that. Unless the economy improves dramatically between now and 2012 Obama is toast, regardless of who is in Congress.

John Quincy Adams ... 50th-year summation, though lengthy, is pointed and concise. He addresses the ideas of "democracy" and "republic" throughout, but here are some of his concluding remarks:

Great post and link, thanks. I enjoy reading the importance the Founders gave to understanding the historical and philosophical train of events and needs for balance that led to the creation of the Constitution. "Constitutional studies" should start in grade school and go each year, all the way up through high school graduation, to ensure Americans know WHY they are Americans. The Left would never survive such a continuous exposure to the light.

No.
We have to go for it.
I am only saying that the Dems already have a plan for our bunch.

You think the left went wild over Clintons impeachment?
Just wait and see what they do to the Republican brand when one of our guys tries to impeach Obama.
Wait till we take away Obamas social goodies before Obama can hand them out.

In some ways, I think America deserves to feel the full brunt of Obamas ****ty policies before he gets to blame their failure on us.

People have forgotten that Health Care hasn’t materialized yet.
But if we make any legislation toward making sure it doesnt happen people will go nuts, that they were “Robbed” of Obamas wonderful legislation.

We stand very little to gain by spending our position working to reign in Obamas Unicorns.
I want to see us spend our position leading.

That’s why he is throwing every Dem overboard. Uh, how exactly is he doing that?

One example: The mosque in NY.

He could have stayed out of it, instead he forced every Democrat to chose sides, knowing they would have to side with him agaisnt the American people, or betray the Dem position in order to have chance of being re-elected..

Not sure of the House yet but DeMint for Senate Majority Leader. Put Sarah in as RNC Chairman.

This part:

HH: Now Leader Boehner, though, normally it’s the fall before appropriations bills are passed. And the budget, if there is a budget resolution, takes two or three months. I don’t know about you, but I think that huge crowd on the Mall and what it represented across the country wants a new majority to move quickly, to at least put before the Senate and the President a serious agenda of reform, and not the business as usual, and not the usual calendar. How quickly can you move?

JB: Well, I think that’s still a big question. If, in fact, we gain the majority, that means we’re going to have at least sixty new members of Congress. And when we begin to look at changes to the committee process, it’s going to take time to implement that as well.

Two months out, it’s difficult for the Pres to do anything positive to help his Congressional minions except to give them money and in Zer0’s case, stay away from their campaigning.
