I am trying to support those republicans who have the best chance to defeat the democrat in their respective state.

I hate losing to democrats. When a republican loses, he/she has ZERO, ZILCH, NADA power to change one damn thing no matter how conservative they are. When Hoffman lost to a democrat in NY, he has absolutely no power to change anything.

And at the moment, in Nevada, who is that Republican with the best chance to defeat Reid? Sharron Angle.

Until very late in the campaign, 'moderate' and establishment Republicans were NOT supporting Hoffman. Besides, that was the weirdest election I've ever seen. Not at all typical.

Electing a few very conservative politicians is not going to shift to country over to so-called far right-wing extremism. It will shift it slightly away from the far left-wing extremism that has controlled it for the past 2 years, and deeply influenced it for the past 4 years.

The Greatest Generation isn't the Greatest Generation simply because they won a war, but because they won a war they had very little chance to win when they entered that war. We Americans do the seemingly impossible. Sharron Angle can do the seemingly impossible.
