WARREN, Mich. — Warren Mayor Jim Fouts has issues with President Barack Obama.
Fouts fired off a letter to the White House Friday after reading excerpts in the Detroit News from a forthcoming memoir of Steve Rattner, the former top auto adviser to the White House.
Rattner writes that the president and his top advisers blocked plans by General Motors executives to move the company’s headquarters offices from the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit to the General Motors Technical Center in Warren.
