Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer and her Republican opponent Carly Fiorina will square off Wednesday night in the only debate scheduled so far in a race that polls show is a toss up between the two women.
The hour-long event at St. Marys College in Moraga begins at 7 p.m. It will be televised on CBS affiliates up and down the state, including on KTTV in Los Angeles. The debate is being sponsored by the San Francisco Chronicle and KQED public radio and will be streamed live on both sponsors web sites. C-Span is also televising the forum.

Boxer regularly challenges Patty Murray for the title of the most stupid person in the Senate, so I'm sure Carly will eat her up. Boxer will try to fillibuster.

Boxer will make a fool of herself.
But by the time morning papers are delivered people will believe she's a genius.
