Exactly. NONE of those virtues are shared by islam. Therefore, islam is not compatible with this nation's founding principles and must be excised. We only go backwards if we allow this tyrannical, intolerant, unfair, unjust, and exclusive sham of a religion to propagate.
In the meantime, Americans read, practically every day, in the mainstream press no less, stories about women being stoned and mutilated, beheadings, death threats to critics (like Mme. Sarkozy), honor killings, etc. These supporters of Sharia mouthing Enlightenment principles just make themselves look like jackasses.

For all of the talk that the 9-11 attacks were not the actions of muslims and that this mosque has nothing to do with ground zero etc. he LIES.
He also says that he will not talk of Hamas as a terrorist group because he does not make political statements but he had no hesitation in saying that the United States is guilty of “terrorism” (his word not mine) and that we have more muslim blood on our hands than Al Qaeda has of “innocent” non-muslims.
He’s an islamist supremacist and it is treasonous to provide aid and comfort and spout such propaganda in wartime.
