MSNBC host Ed Schultz says he wasnt impressed by the crowd Fox's Glenn Beck was able to draw to Washington over the weekend, saying he could easily match Beck.
I could get every union head in this country, I could organize every progressive group in this country, the main bloggers, Schultz said on his radio show Tuesday. This could be The Ed March.
Schultz used NBC News projection of 300,000 attendees to Becks rally as the baseline he could reach though CBS and others have placed the number of Beck supporters at less than 100,000.
Folks, 300,000 people on the heels of six months promotion that ain't no big shakes, Schultz said, alluding to Becks frequent plugs for the event on his own television and radio shows as well as his website.

No one even knows who this self-aggrandizing fool is.
Big difference between people who want to come and people who are “organized” to come. Al Sharpton has far more name recognition than Schultz does, was in a largely black city and supposedly celebrating a major black figure’s speech and he could only get 3000 attendees.
.. and we'll meet ya there.
Ed cant even get 300,000 people to turn the TV to his show.”
Beck was talking about this same thing on his radio show this morning - said he thought that should be Ed’s first goal.
God, I hope he goes for it... He’ll pull a ‘Sharpton’ at best... come on liberal, go for it...
I'm not sure the SEIU AFL/CIO thugs would be motivated to turn out, with no prospects of anyone to beat up and intimidate.
It's be like the Hell's Angels "security detail" at Altamont.
Woodstock had about 500k people who went for free music, dope and sex. Beck didn’t offer any of music, dope or sex and got almost as many to attend. Those are not shabby numbers.

Wow, he could pay people to show up and top Beck. I am shocked by that one. Reminds me of the union guys holding banners during the Mass. Senate campaign. They told Brown they were paid to hold the banners but were voting for him.
Ed, we have photo’s of real estate covered by Beck’s rally.
So, forget whether the number is 100,000 or 800,000.
You couldn’t bribe that much lawn coverage, because nobody knows who you are!
Two words: free food.
Go for it EDDIE!!!! One thing you can depend on Eddie is that the media will SAY you drew more even if only two dozen show up.
Beck should accept the challenge and base the over/under by taking a similar shot from the top of the Washington Monument.
Rent a mob is OK with me - they still won't be able to pull it off.
And it'll waste more of their money - think 'Air America'... IF they want to go broke in the process of discovering no one really supports them, that's fine with me.
In other words, unlike Glenn Beck, his crowd (if you could call it that) would be made up of people who were ordered to be there.
I love broadcast wars.Who is he?
Radio show ratings:
Glenn Beck - 27%
Ed Schultz - .33%
Lots of luck Ed.
Ed, put down the crack pipe and step away from the microphone!
I don't watch either one, but at least I've *heard* of Beck...
ASTROTURF
How much would the rent-a-mob cost him?
